CONVENTIONAL MACHINIST

We have an All Star team of manual machinists solving complex challenges on a daily basis, with a reputation built by over a century of quality workmanship in and around the Puget Sound region. We are adding to this team a highly skilled artisan manual machine expert with the ability to utilize a variety of machining equipment to create solutions for our customers.

The Manual Machinist will:

• Work from drawings as well as direct contact with customers to build parts and fixtures

• Understand close tolerance manual machining on both mills and lathes

• Be versatile in your machining skillset and have the ability to adapt to changes.

• Be able to work both in our shop and in the field when necessary

• Having knowledge of horizontal boring mills will be a plus

• Understand machine maintenance and repair

The qualified candidates will

• Bring at least 7 years of manual machining expertise in a shop.

• Have the ability to work within very tight tolerance (+/- .0001).

• Ability to work with both mills and lathes.

• Some CNC knowledge would be a plus.
