CMM PROGRAMMER / QA INSPECTOR

This position is responsible for CMM programming and operation, manual inspection, inspecting finished goods, in process work and incoming materials, and maintaining AS9100 quality system. This position is also a primary point of contact to our customers. This position is “hands on” and requires solid CMM programming and operational knowledge and experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Program and operate a CMM.
Use various precision measuring devices to perform required manual inspections, verify conformance of incoming materials, in process work, and finished work to specifications.
Represent the company in direct and daily interactions with customers, customer quality inspectors and other customer representatives in professional, respectful and tactful interactions.
Maintain AS9100 processes, internal and accredited audits, management review meetings corrective actions and their resolutions.
Monitors, reports and tracks deviations from quality standards and recommends corrective action.
Required Skills and Education
Experience with CMM software: OpenDMIS (preferred), PC-DMIS or CMM Manager.
Outstanding communication skills and ability to work with a broad cross-section of people and personalities
Team player with outstanding ability to maintain a positive, can do, professional attitude in the face of conflicting priorities and changing requirements.
Solid experience and understanding of Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing (GD&T) methods.
Diverse knowledge of inspection equipment, control methods, techniques and documentation.
Experience and knowledge of AS9100 quality systems, procedures and standards. Desired Experience and Skills, but not required
Working knowledge and experience with DPD and other standard Boeing systems, procedures and protocols.
Experience working in job shop, low volume production, or precision tooling environment.
Knowledge of Boeing tooling standards.
